Objective: Due to the low availability of the neurourological care patients with neurogenic low urinary tract dysfunction (NLUTD) need a proper information about methods of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for their condition.
Material: The Urological department of Ural State Medical University had created a web site «Neurogenic Bladder League» containing educational materials about NLUTD.
Results: In the article the results of the site operation where analyzed. Since the establishment, more than 27000 people have visited the web resource. The most popular pages were sections about intermittent self-catheterization, urodynamic studies, medical treatment and searching for experts. The site has a wide geography, including many countries, but the majority of visitors live in the big cities of Russia. Among 523 users who filed The Neurogenic Bladder Symptom Score online the average score was 32.81±15.6. Nevertheless one third of respondents had no neurological diagnosis.
Conclusion: The overview of the site functioning confirm its relevant, importance and social significance.
