Beshliev Jemal Ahmedovich graduated from the 2nd Moscow Order of Lenin State Medical Institute n.a. N.I. Pirogov in 1972.
In the period of 1972 - 1994 he studied urology at the department of urology and operative nephrology.
In the period of 1995 - 1998 he worked at the urology department of the Central Clinical Hospital of the 4th Main Directorate under the Ministry of Health.
In 1998 he started working at the Research Institute of Urology of the Ministry of Health of the RSFSR as head of the department of X-ray shock-wave remote crushing of stones.
In 1992 he was transferred to the leading scientific officer position at the department of Remote Lithotripsy, and since 1995 - at the department of urolithiasis with the group of remote lithotripsy (Republican Center for the Treatment of Urolithiasis).
In 2007 Dr. Beshliev was appointed head of the organizational and methodological department of the Institute. In 2011-2016 he held the position of chief scientific officer there.
In the period of 2003 - 2015 he was a member of the editorial board of the journal "Urology" in positions of executive secretary. Since 2008 - as a scientific editor. He also carried out scientific editing of a number of books on urology, including the National Urology Guidelines, edited by Prof. N.A. Lopatkin.
Dr. Beshliev defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences in 1981 in MONIKI n.a. M.F. Vladimirsky on the "Causes of disorders of urodynamics of the upper urinary tract in pregnancy" problem. In 2003 he defended his doctoral thesis on "Dangers, errors, complications of remote lithotripsy, their treatment and prevention" problem.
