Our article is devoted to the definitions of “stress”, “systemic inflammatory response syndrome” and to their equivalence. A new definition of “SIRS-stress reaction” was proposed to clearly depict the essence of the clinical and pathological processes in urological patients with acute inflammatory conditions.

The paper is dedicated to the mechanism of adaptogenic effect of sodium hypochlorite (SH). The studies were performed in three groups of 45 albino male rats. Group of intact animals were 5 rats. The rats in the control group (n = 20) were daily intraperitoneally (i / p) administered for 1.5 ml of saline for 4 days. The rats in the experimental group (n = 20) were similarly injected with 1.5 ml 0.06% solution of SH. The results in the group of intact rats were considered the normal values.

Objective: to improve the efficacy of treatment of acute lower urinary tract infection (LUTI) and increase of recurrent-free period in chronic infection of lower urinary tract by a rational antibacterial drug choice. Materials and methods. 987 strains of community-acquired uropathogens from 28 centers of 20 cities in Russian Federation. Belarus and Kazakhstan (903 from Russia) were collected.

Cystitis is one of the most common urological diseases. Up to 40% of females that had bacterial cystitis have a recurrence in nearest 6 months. Management of relapsing infection of lower urinary tract is a hard challenge. Using of hyaluronic acid in treatment of recurrent infection of lower urinary tract is one of promising option. Disregenerative processes in urothelium could be a result of interstitial inflammation with glycosaminoglycans deficit.
