Aim of the study. To evaluate the safety and efficacy of minimally invasive surgical treatments (cryoablation) of kidney tumors in patients at high surgical risk.

Materials and methods. In the period from March 2010 to October 2013 twelve patients with localized renal cell carcinoma (clinical stage I) underwent cryoablation. The age of patients ranged from 26 to 82 years (median 57 years). Median follow up was 19 months (minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 36 months).

The limited resources of health care system, combined with an aging population and an increase of proportion of diseases of involutional origin leads to the need to optimize the algorithms of diagnosis and treatment of these diseases. BPH is a gender-associated, socially significant disease, as it accounts for over 40% of all diseases of men older than 50 years, and this is the reason of the significant economic contributions in the cost structure of the health system.

Current study was devoted to the comparative retrospective analysis of the urological, including oncourological, morbidity during the period from 2002 to 2012 according to the official medical statistics with the aim of the objectification of the current state of the urological service in Russian Federation and in the individual regions. The frequency of the urological diseases, bladder, prostate and kidney tumors were dynamically evaluated, as well as the mortality rate from these diseases.

The most informative immunological analysis to reveal neuroendocrine differentiation (NED) in prostate cancer diagnostics is evaluation of Chromogranin A (ChA) level. Rhe value of ChA in the diagnostics of prostate cancer (PCa) is studied since years. The evidence is controversial with regard to some aspects. But nevertheless most authors consider this analysis as valuable in terms of NED identification in patients with diagnosis of PCa. NED presence in these cases could be the sign of more aggressive disease.

Introduction: BPH –gender, social disease, as it accounts more than 40% of all diseases of men older 50 years. Analyzing the effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment of BPH in the Russian Federation at the example of the Voronezh region in 2009, it revealed that 40.9% of patients with BPH treated at the hospital were delivered by ambulance for emergency indication, underlining the shortages of prophylaxis and low detectability of diseases.

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the male population all over the world. Therefore the search for ways of early diagnosis and primary prevention of cardiovascular disease is a top priority for many academic institutions. At the same time, erectile dysfunction – is one of the most common problems among men of middle-aged and elderly. Com- mon risk factors (such as smoking, poor diet, lack of physical activity, etc.) allow dysfunction disease have a common pathogenesis.

Materials and Methods. The analysis included 117 patients who meet the following criteria: disease stage T1-T2c, low or intermediate risk of disease (criteria D`Amico), follow-up period of 5 years or more, and performed PDA, which was carried out based on the day 30 CT data. According to the results of PDA patients were divided into 2 groups: group I figure D90 was ≥140 Gray, group II < 140 Gray. Biochemical failure was defined by ASTRO.

As for April 2013, 62% of the physicians use Internet to approach the professional information. We have estimated, that more than half of the urologists have a desire and need to access the Internet resources for self-education purposes. Given the big size of Russian Federation this could be realized using the distant education technologies and modern Internet-based platforms.

The aim. Study for hypertension in patients urolithiasis. To find out details of the preparation of patients with hypertension to the surgical treatment. Materials and methods. Selected for the study with concomitant hypertension 589 male patients with urolithiasis (group I). The control group formed by the inclusion of 50 men with urolithiasis and hypertension, taken at an emergency surgery.

The study of the genetic risk factors in the development of the urolithiasis was undertaken in russian population. One hundred and one patients were investigated as study group and 393 healthy patients were used as control group. All patients were from Central Russia. Among the patients of the study group 32 had healthy relatives (17 male and 15 female patients) and 69 – had close relatives with urolithiasis (44 men and 25 women).
