Introduction: widespread introduction of radical prostatectomy (RPE) into clinical practice and particularly its nerve- sparing option resulted an appearance of a new type of sexual dysfunction. This type of sexual dysfunction has specific particularities of ethiology, pathogenesis, clinical presentation and treatment options. But still there are no generally accepted terminology and standards of obtaining and presentation of data on this topic. In addition, a number of terms used in description of data obtained by different authors is treated differently.

The present research is dedicated to study of disability in the country for over the past two years according to official health care statistics, as far as to structure of disability due to forming genitourinary system disorders in Moscow in the period of 2002 - 2007, to review overall situation in the country and to identify specific patterns and trends.

One of the biggest problems in the diagnosis of prostate cancer (PCa), which distinguishes it from many other solid tumors, is the difficulty of visualization of the tumor process by using modern methods of radiation diagnosis.

Present study dedicated to analysis of urological and nephrological disease incidence in Russian Federation in recent years (2004–2009) according to Health care and social development department official statistics, specialized regional institutions and federal government sta-tistics department reports.

At present time the challenge of prostate cancer early detection becomes more and more vital due to prostate cancer (PCa) is one of the most common malignant tumors in males. Development and clinical introduction of programs of prostate cancer early detection is not only about a medical concern but about social and economic meaning for government. After introduction 20 years ago PSA test gave a start to early prostate cancer detection era, increased rate of localized curable cancer detection.

Current International statistical classification of diseases and related health problems, 10th edition (ICD- 10), is a legislative document that provides integration and comparability of national healthcare data, epidemiological situation and healthcare facilities' activity. Unfortunately the given classification suffers from inaccuracies in clinical sections structural appearance either in coding of numerous diseases. There is an intricacy in different polygenic diseases and syndromes placement in various sections.

Radical prostatectomy (RPE) and brachytherapy (BT) belong to main options of prostate cancer (CaP) treatment. Up to present time there are no researches dedicated to comparative analysis of these methods. Discovering the advantages of one of these methods may help to provide their efficiency analysis.
