Introduction. The development of oxidative stress and nonspecific inflammation is one of the leading factors in the development of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and associated urination disorders in metabolic syndrome (MS). However, the specific mechanisms of these processes are not entirely clear.

Introduction. Regenerativemedicine is an actively developing field. The possibility oftreating chronic diseaseswith stemcelltransplantation and therapywith products of their secretion is being studied. In this study, we compared the effectiveness of therapy in rats with severe acute renal failure (ARF) using course administration of protein-peptide secretome (PPS) isolated from the brain of pig embryos and by transplanting tissue homogenate of neonatal kidneys of newborn rats.

Introduction. Prevention of relapse of calcium-oxalate urolithiasis is challenging. Diet as the first stage of prevention does not always allow to achieve remission. Herbal preparations are widely used as alternative treatment. One of these drugs is Oxalit – a biologically active complex.

Purpose. The evaluation of the impact of the «Oxalit» complex on metabolic parameters in patients with urolithiasis, and the determination of the possibilities of its use in the treatment of patients with calcium-oxalate urolithiasis.

Introduction. Hypercalciuria (HCU) is one of the main metabolic lithogenic disorders caused urolithiasis. Considering the significant role of calcium in the pathogenesis of urolithiasis, the proven effect of HCU on the initiation of stone formation during urolithiasis, it was decided to study the effect of calciuria on the frequency of formation of urinary stones of various chemical composition.

We studied the association between metabolic parameters of urine and blood in relationship with physical and chemical state of cell membranes in patients with urolithiasis.

Urolithiasis is one of the most common urological diseases. Urolithiasisis a polyetetic disease (congenital and acquired nature)with complex physico-chemical processes occurring not only in the urinary system, but also in the whole body. Issues of etiology and pathogenesis of stone formation not fully explored despite clear success in the study of urolithiasis.

Introduction. Chemical composition of the urinary stone, that is, of its metabolic type, are of great importance for the choice of both invasive methods of treatment of urolithiasis and methods of stone recurrence prevention. However, urinary stones are not always available for analysis, which makes it difficult to select the best treatment methods and leads us to the need to find methods for assessing the chemical composition of patient urinary stones in a patient in vivo.

Introduction. Research Institute of Urology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, directed by Acad. of RAMS, Professor Lopatkin N.A., placed a greater focus on the epidemiology of urological diseases, including urolithiasis, in the USSR and the Russian Federation. Currently, the Institute is monitoring urological morbidity, disability and mortality.

The pathogenesis of urolithiasis, as well as atherosclerosis, is not fully understood. According to hypothesis, the start point of lithogenesis or atherogenesis is endothelial wall damage. It is possible that free radical oxidation is part of the pathogenesis of both diseases. In addition, the results of a large number research works, assert that urolithiasis patients are more likely to get sick atherosclerosis.
