Introduction. The analysis of domestic and foreign publications indicates that oxidative stress is accompanying and/ or plays one of pathogenic role in development of many types of reproductive disorders in men of various ethnic groups. The state of health of the male population affected by factors related to lifestyle, environment, population genotype. These changes are expressed not only in deterioration of spermatogenesis, but also in appearance of an oxidative stress signs in blood serum and ejaculate in men of reproductive age.

Number of infertile marriages has increased in the world in the last decades, largely associated with a male factor due to a decline in parameters of fertility of the ejaculate, mostly in the form of asthenoteratozoospermia. 

Chronic prostatitis (CP) stays at the first place in the structure of the inflammatory diseases of the genital sphere in men. Incidence of the CP in general population is 9%, in the structure of the urological consultations – 35%. CP is a disease presenting with frequent disturbances of the fertility. 86 patients with the age of 18-55 (mean 35 years) years old with abacterial CP (CAP) in the remission phase were investigated. Disease duration was 2-8 years.

Phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors (iPDE-5) are the first line medications for erectile dysfunction in men. Given that all of them are highly selective, nevertheless they can have effects on the other isoforms of phosphodiesterase (including type 11), which are located in different tissues. Some experimental works show that influence on PDE-11 could affect spermatogenesis. Nevertheless, there is no common opinion whether if fertility affected or not and how.

Objective - to examine the possibility of application of flow cytometry to characterize the state of human sperm cells (viability) and the comparison of the results with the light microscopy as a conventional method in andrology. The study used vital dyes that detect damage to the cell membranes: eosin - for light microscopy and propidium iodide - for flow cytometry.

Basic parameters of spermatogenesis in 6 almost healthy males aged from 26 to 41 volunteered in 500 day isolation experiment were studied. During 500 days they were in conditions imitating a manned flight. Male sexual function was evaluated due to BSF 1 criteria. Initial results were normal due to WHO recommendations. 500 days after isolation, detachment from common working rhythm and sexual abstinence in ejaculate analysis multidirectional influence of these factors were discovered.

Introduction. Extensive studies of different kinds of sperm pathologies medication management were conducted in recent two decades. It was shown that sperm cell motility reduction might be caused by lipid peroxidation activation in cells. Objective. To determine the influence of medications with proved antioxidant activity on ejaculate fertile indications in males with idiopathic infertility. Materials and methods. 39 patients' with idiopathic infertility ejaculate was surveyed. Following medications were used in our research: ovodorin, mexidol, semax.

Introduction. Demographic problems in Russian Federation require paying more attention to reproductive health of adolescents. This problem worries pediatricians: only 20% of senior school graduates are considered healthy. WHO reports 50% contribution of male factor in infertile couples. Among the reasons causing male infertility varicocele can be emphasized. Numerous of long-term researches are dedicated to male infertility in adults. Far less researches of varicocele in kids and adolescents can be found.

Increase of spacefl ight duration, long-term hermetic capacity projects together with challenges of health status maintenance and performance capability of test researchers raise a question about need for research of reproductive function under that condition. Data on eff ect of long isolation condition on male reproductive system status is extremely limited.
