State of copulative function in patients after endovideosurgical adenomectomy

3104

Introduction. Benign prostatic hyperplasia is one of the most common diseases of elderly and senile men, for the treatment of which a large number of surgical methods of treatment have been developed, however, the dependence of the frequency of various disorders of copulative function on the type of surgical intervention is poorly reflected in the literature. Our study is devoted to assessing the effect of endovideosurgical adenomectomy on copulatory function.

Arterial-mediated modifications of surgical treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia

3609

Introduction. Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) still stays one of the most common diseases in the male population.

Aim of research. To compare efficacy of 3 surgical treatments (laparoscopic retropubic simple prostatectomy combined with provisional clamping of internal iliac arteries and urethrocystoanastomosis [LRP+CIIA+UCA], open [ОAE] and laparoscopic [LAE] Millins’s simple prostatectomy) of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

The use of recombinant FSH in the treatment of infertility associated with a high level of sperm DNA damage

4597

Introduction. Male infertility, caused by a high level of sperm DNA fragmentation, remains one of the significant problems of reproductive medicine. One of the methods to overcome it may be the use of recombinant follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), but the results of studies on this issue are ambiguous. The purpose of this literature review is to systematize publications on this issue.

Evaluation of testosterone replacement therapy in the rehabilitation of men with urinary disorders after BPH surgical treatment

3408

Introduction. Symptoms of lower urinary tract dysfunction (LUTS) in older men are most often associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). A low level of testosterone leads to various changes in the organs and systems of the body, including causing structural changes in the tissues of the genitourinary system, which negatively affects their function.

The aim of this work was to study the effect of testosterone replacement therapy on LUTS with androgen deficiency in patients after surgical treatment of BPH.
