Introduction. Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in men, primarily post-prostatectomy, remains a common and socially significant complication. Among surgical treatment options, alongside the artificial urinary sphincter, various sling systems are widely used. However, there is currently no unified classification of these implants in the literature, which complicates their comparative analysis, the choice of optimal tactics, and the development of new devices.

Introduction. Obstruction of the pyeloureteral junction (PUJO) of the horseshoe kidney is a very rare disease both in adults and children. This is the reason for the small number of scientific works on the subject of pyeloplasty for this pathology in children. Isthmus crossing and nephropexy followed by dissecting pyeloplasty have been suggested as one of the surgical treatment options. There are no convincing data on the feasibility of this procedure in the literature.

Introduction. Self-insertion of foreign bodies into the urethra represents a rare urological emergency involving a wide variety of objects. In many cases, diagnosis and treatment are delayed due to the patient’s embarrassment, shame, or reluctance to disclose the incident.

Introduction. Classic bladder exstrophy is a rare anomaly, occurring in a ratio of 1:30000 to 1:50000 newborns. However, various variants of the exstrophy-epispadias complex are 10 times less common. Covered bladder exstrophy is a rare variant of classic exstrophy. Patients with the covered variant of exstrophy can be considered as classic exstrophy with all the accompanying defects of this anomaly, but with a bladder that is closed and covered only by a thin, often translucent skin membrane without muscles or a fascial layer.

Introduction. Testicular torsion (TT) is the most common emergency urologic pathology of children. Detorsion within 4-8 hours is crucial to prevent irreversible changes in testicular tissue. Ultrasound investigation plays a major role in the diagnosis of testicular torsion, but its performance is prolonging the diagnostic period and, consequently, the time of testicular ischemia.

Introduction. Pathophysiology behind the formation of pelviureteric junction obstruction (PUJO) combined with a crossing lower polar vessel remains the subject of discussion. The main discussed issue is the role of external compression in the formation of consequential structural changes in the ureteropelvic segment and their significance for the development of PUJO.

Introduction. Hypospadias without hypospadias (i.e. chordae hypospadias) in children is rare and accounts for 4 to 10% of all forms of hypospadias. There are no descriptions of the occurrence of the anterior wall of the urethra lysis before surgical correction in the literature.

Clinical case. There are two case reports of percutaneous urethral fistula formation in children and surgical treatment options for urethral recon- struction are presented.

Introduction. The second most common pathology of the ureterovesical segment, after vesicoureteral reflux (VUR), is megaureter. At the moment, it is necessary to optimize the approach to performing various types of surgical interventions in children with megaureter. The question of the timing and indications for surgery, their number and the sequence of treatment stages remains open. The aim: to analyze the causes of repeated surgical interventions for megaureter and their prevention.

Introduction. Testicular torsion is the most common emergency urological pathology of boys. If it is impossible to exclude TT, a testicular revision is necessary. In every third case, the torsed testicle is not viable and an orchidectomy is performed. If the testicle is recognized as viable during the operation, then questions arise about the choice of fixation technique, suture material, as well as the need and timing of fixation of the contralateral testicle.

Introduction. Vestibulovaginal hypospadias is a rare pathology, which is an embryonic malformation of both the urinary and reproductive systems. Various surgical methods are used to treat this malformation, the results of which are not always positive.
Purpose. To develop a surgical correction option for vestibulovaginal hypospadias.
