The paper presents a rare clinical case of twisting the testis of a newborn. It is shown that the severity of effects on reproductive function in bilateral volvulus newborn due to bilateral orchiectomy and as a consequence the complete loss of reproductive potential.

Introduction. Scientific papers, which deal with laparoscopic pyeloplasty in children with hydronephrosis, pay attention to the difficulties of renal drainage during the postoperative period and the associated complications. The aim of this study is to demonstrate the variants of temporary urine diversion in children after laparoscopic pyeloplasty, depending on the degree of hydronephrosis and patient’s age.

The purpose of the study is to identify factors contributing to the progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in children with congenital malformations of the urinary system.

Metods. Study design - retrospective, observational, cohort. The study included 297 patients.

Introduction. Main symptoms of epispadias are characterized by partial or complete splitting of the urethra. The penis is shortened due to the separation of symphysis pubis and has dorsal deformation because of tunica albuginea hypoplasia on its dorsal side. The glans penis is flattened and the foreskin covers only its ventral side. Boys with subtotal and total epispadias have partial or complete urinary incontinence.

Congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract (CAKUT) cover a wide range of structural malformations that result from defects in the morphogenesis of the kidney and/or urinary tract. These anomalies account for about 40–50% of children with chronic kidney disease worldwide. Knowledge from genetically modified mouse models suggests that single gene mutations in renal developmental genes may lead to CAKUT in humans. However, until recently only a handful of CAKUT-causing genes were reported, most of them in familial syndromic cases.

Exstrophy-epispadias complex is a range of urogenital malformations vary in severity from epispadias to classic bladder exstrophy and cloacal exstrophy. Description and study of exstrophy epispadias complex began with the VII century. Only in the beginning of the twentieth century successful results, ensuring optimal quality of life,were achieved. Exstrophyepispadias complex one of the most difficult for treat pathologies in the practice of pediatric urology. Currently, the frequency rate is 1 for 100,000 live births.

We have investigated the cohort of 48 pediatric patients with specific types of the upper urinary tract (UUT) urodynamics disturbances and pathologic protein profiles and showed positive influence of the Rovatinecs on all urodynamic processes, characteristic for filling and emptying phases. The most prominent effect on urodynamics was evident in patients with obstructive and obstructive-hypertensive variants. Disadaptation variant patients efficacy of the kidney pelvis emptying was unchanged.

Hypospadias one of the most common congenital diseases of the genitourinary system in boys, the frequency of this anomaly in girls below. The term "female hypospadias» (hypospadia feminis) understand congenital disease, which manifests itself in the displacement meatus on the anterior vaginal wall gimenalnogo proximal ring. Since hypospadias in girls and women is extremely rare diagnosis and treatment it has received little attention from doctors.

We present our experiences with the pathology of the spermatic cord: 39 newborns and children of the 1st life month with acute scrotum syndrome in last 12 years. We have analyzed the efficacy of diagnostics, surgical treatment, the causes of the unsatisfactory results and possible solutions. We discuss the characteristic signs of the testicular torsion in the newborn age, the difficulties of the diagnosis and consequent treatment. The diagnostic standard is sonography with dopplerography, the same as in the elder patients.

Introduction. The efficacy of antegrade laser endopyelotomy (ALM) for ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction (UPJO) in pediatric patients is yet not defined.
