Introduction. Hypospadia is one of the most frequent hereditary diseases, which occurs in 1 child pro 200-300 newborns. In spite of the high rate of the hypospadia in the population, there is no common opinion with regard to the severity estimation of this disease and post-operative evaluation of outcomes. The aim of the study was to develop a quantitative scale for the assessment of initial penis status and to evaluate the correlation between the pre-operative scale-based data and post-operative outcomes.

Introduction. The presentation of endoscopic correction of vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) opened new options in management strategy. The objective of research was to evaluate the modified endoscopic VUR correction method with «Vantris» bulking agent.

Treatment of ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) combined anomalies and segmental hypoplasia of extended portion of ureter is a major problem in pediatric urology. There is a large quantity of complications after surgical correction of anomalies and high rate of nephrectomies mentioned in publications. Since 1994 to 1998 we observed 146 children with UPJ obstruction, 130 of them underwent surgery due to Anderson-Hynes technique.

Introduction: The most common techniques for hypospadias surgical treatment in patients with distal and penile hypospadias (primary and secondary surgeries) are: tubularized incised plate (TIP) urethroplasty, grafted tubularized incised urethral plate urethroplasty, and Mathieu urethroplasty.

Purpose. The little size of penile glans is one of the problem hypospadias corrections. We reviewed our experience in one-stage distal hypospadias repair. Between January 2006 and October 2009, 185 boys, (age range 0,5- 17 years) underwent urethroplasty. The patients had different forms (coronal – 105, distal penile -57 and mid shaft penile – 23) of hypospadias. All patients were divided into two groups. The first group included 89 boys with one-stage onlay island flap (16), TIP tubularized incised plate (73) hypospadias repair.

Th e paper is dedicated to primary bladder reconstruction with local fl aps in children with exstrophy. An original method of bladder neck reconstruction with local fl aps with obligatory convergence of pubic bones in newborn infants has been proposed. 93 infants underwent surgery in the period from 1988 to 2009. Th e main group consisted of patients who underwent primary bladder reconstruction with local fl aps with convergence of the symphysis pubis bones (81). In 17 infants the procedure was supplied by the ileal osteotomy.
