EXPERIMENTAL UROLOGY

Introduction. In recent decades, mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and extracellular vesicles (MSC-EVs) isolated from them have become of particular interest in the field of regenerative medicine. The latter mediate the paracrine action of MSCs, causing anti-inflammatory, proangiogenic, immunomodulatory, antifibrotic effects in damaged tissues/structures/organs.

The aim. To study experimental preclinical studies on the use of MSC-EVs in urology.

Introduction. Clinical effectiveness of Permixon (HSRE) is associated with antiandrogenic, antiproliferative and anti-inflammatory action in the prostate gland. However, the published data also suggest the existence of a separate mechanism of HSRE action, that is realized in LUTS/BPH through influencing the function of the obstructive bladder (OB).

Introduction. Urolithiasis remains one of the most common urological pathologies that deserves due attention in the healthcare system. A current direction in optimizing percutaneous nephrolithotripsy (PСNL) is a personalized prognosis for patient management based on artificial intelligence (AI) decisionmaking algorithms. In our work, we applied an algorithm to create the most optimal tactics for patient management after PCNL.

Purpose. Optimize the management of patients after PCNL based on AI.

Introduction. To date, the problem of the presence of post voiding residual (PVR) in children remains urgent. PVR is the amount of urine remaining in the bladder after its voluntary emptying. The following conditions are associated with this, requiring the participation of a specialist: urinary tract infection, urolithiasis, bladder dysfunction.

Introduction. An age-associated increase in serum levels of sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) is considered to be one of the factors leading to the development of male hypogonadism.

Aim of the study: to study the relationship between the concentration of sex hormone-binding globulin in the blood serum and the age of the man, the level of total and free testosterone.

Introduction. Today, ultrasound examination (ultrasound), due to a number of advantages over other diagnostic methods (low cost, lack of ionizing radiation, the ability to perform without restrictions on age, gender, body weight, the presence of metal objects, etc.), is widely implemented in clinical practice. However, the accuracy in detecting urinary stones in the gray-scale mode varies from 33 to 95% and depends on the experience of the specialist performing the study and the quality of the ultrasound apparatus.

Introduction. Varicocele is diagnosed in every seventh teenager over 15 years of age, and in total up to 15% of all men suffer. The connection between varicocele and male infertility has been poorly studied, however, spermogram abnormalities in infertile men with varicocele can vary from normozoospermia to complete azoospermia.

Introduction. Literature data and our own research indicate that therapy with immature cell secretion products (secretome) has a pronounced nephroprotective effect both in acute kidney injury and in chronic renal failure (CRF).

Introduction. In recent years, there has been more and more research on the creation of artificial intelligence (AI) to help diagnose and treat patients in various fields of medicine. The use of algorithms allows us to reduce the time for processing large volumes of information and give a
«second opinion» to a specialist in complex and non-standard clinical cases. In order to increase the effectiveness of percutaneous nephrolithotripsy, we have created an AI algorithm to personalize approach in the surgical treatment of nephrolithiasis.

Introduction. Despite the absence of a generally accepted theory explaining the mechanisms of aging, existing scientific data indicate a close relationship between aging and chronic low-grade inflammation (low-grade inflammation). This theory of inflammatory aging (inflame-aging) suggests that aging is accompanied by the development of a chronic inflammatory phenotype, which ultimately leads to fibroplastic transformation of tissues, which manifests itself in a functional deficiency of organs and, in particular, the bladder.
