Drugs based on α1-adrenergic blockers are currently used as a first line of treatment for lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). Blockage of α1a-adrenergic receptors leads to relaxation of smooth muscles in prostatic stroma which leads to a decrease in obstruction symptoms. Tamsulosin blocks α1a- and α1d-adrenergic receptors, which allows it to effectively diminish all LUTS, while circulatory adverse events are rare because of its low activity towards α1b-adrenergic receptors.

Introduction. Varicose pelvic disease in men is a little-studied problem, but the role of the varicose in the development of a number of urological diseases is well known. The need to study this pathology is primarily due to its growing prevalence among men.

Introduction. Acute kidney injury (AKI), which is based on ischemic-reperfusion damage, is a widespread life-threatening condition and remains a serious public health problem with a high mortality rate among patients. Despite significant advances in various areas of medicine, the prevention and correction of ischemicreperfusion kidney damage are still far from being at the desired level.

Тhe promising approaches is the use of periurethral administration of bulking agents that create additional volume in the field of transplantation and aimed at achieving an equilibrium pressure between the bladder and urethra. Thus bulking agents are capable for reducing the frequency of intra-and post-operative complications, as well as ensuring the most effective rehabilitation of patients

The article points out the main problems of modern doctors and students’ preparation for the endosurgical operations. Our experience was presented to the organization of experimental and educational work with the use of animal surgery, on the basis of the laboratory of experimental surgery. The lack of adapted to modern realities protocols of experimental operations and the low level of doctors and students’ preparation for manual skills in surgery, particularly in laparoscopic one, made our program development necessary to solve these problems.

The prospective study comprised 20 white outbred male rats with disturbed spermatogenesis, which was modeled by moving both testicles into the abdominal cavity for 2 weeks and then were returned into the scrotum. What is more testicular tissue from newborn rats (1-2 days after birth) was transplanted under the tunica albuginea in the trial series. In the control experiments, transplantations were not performed.

In order to minimize the damaging effect of "thermal ischemia" and improve the long-term results of organ preserving operations on the kidneys, some authors suggest using local compression of the parenchyma of the organ at the site of resection by various methods to create a "dry" operative field.

Although shock-wave therapy was initially designed as a method of non-invasive destruction of renal and renal duct stones, mode data accumulate that the low intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPU) therapy mediates a physiotherapeutic effect by stimulating blood flow and metabolic processes in the organ, which is advantageous for treating chronic urological diseases.
