Robot-assisted radical prostatectomy provides positive functional results a?er surgery and helps to achieve urinary continence and maintain quality of life. At the same time, further development of new surgical methods and approaches is being carried out, which will let improve this characteristic.

Aim. To determine the cell loss factor in patients with prostate cancer by comparing the values of actual tumor growth rate with its proliferating activity.

One of the major problems in oncourology nowadays is renal cell carcinoma (RCC). For the past few decades its incidence is continuously rising and development of a new innovative technique of RCC treatment is needed. Partial nephrectomy using preventive haemostatic suture is one of such techniques.

Aim: Aim of the study is to demonstrate the benefit of using preventive haemostatic sutures in nephron-sparing surgery (NSS).

Introduction. Among contemporary radiotherapeutic methods, brachytherapy is regarded as the most effective and safe method of radiation dose delivery in comparison with 3D-conformal radiation therapy. Despite this fact, according to many European guidelines on prostate cancer treatment, brachytherapy is not considered as a possible approach to the treatment of locally advanced prostate cancer but is included in the group of methods of treatment which are applied only in the low-risk group.

Penile cancer is a rare oncological disease, occurring with a frequency of 0,1-7,9 per 100 000 male population. In Russia, the incidence in 2014 was 0.82 cases per 100 000 male population, and continues to grow steadily in the dynamics of the past 10 years. Clinically, exophytic or flat lesions on the skin of the glans penis characterize the disease or foreskin of the penis, which can infiltrates spongy and / or cavernous corpuses. Now no standard of treatment penile cancer and no consensus concerning radiation therapy.

This paper presents the results of a series tansmezenteriс kidney resection and compares to standard laparoscopic technique. The basis of the study served as a retrospective analysis of the results of surgical treatment of 61 patients with tumors in the left kidney T1NoMo stage, subjected to laparoscopic partial nephrectomy in the period 2012-2015 years. 

Current guidelines recommend to maintain the target level of testosterone (T) during hormone therapy not higher than 1.73 nmol/l (50 ng/dl). However, in the majority of patients who undergo surgical castration (SC), concentration of T reaches < 0,694 nmol/l (< 20 ng/dl), but these levels are rarely attainable in patients on analogues of luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH). It is likely that the hormone therapy should aim at reduction of T in plasma lower than it is being recommended currently.
