Introduction. Urethral cancer is a rare disease that often occurs under the mask of cystitis and urethritis, which can lead to late diagnosis, progression and poor prognosis.

Purpose of the study. On the example of a clinical case, to demonstrate the difficulties of diagnosing urethral cancer in women in clinical practice.

Introduction. In recent years, it has been established that the study of the content of molecular genetic biomarkers in blood serum, tissues characterizing the activity of tumor-infiltrating immune cells or tumor microenvironment makes it possible to evaluate the effectiveness of immunogenic effects of antitumor therapy, as well as to predict the development of its complications.

Introduction. IgG4-associated diseases are a systemic immune-dependent pathology characterized by diffuse or focal infiltration of affected tissues by lymphocytes and plasma cells expressing IgG4, followed by the development of phlebitis and fibrosclerosis in the affected tissues. In extremely rare cases, an IgG4-associated disease affects the ureter that mimics its malignant tumor, which presents a diagnostic challenge. We present a rare case of IgG4-associated iwhich was misdiagnosed as ureter tumor.

Introduction. Robot-assisted radical prostatectomy, due to its low morbidity and high precision technique, is rapidly taking a leading position among the methods of treatment of localized prostate cancer. At the same time, the requirements for functional results of this surgery are steadily increasing, which encourages the improvement of its technique. Urinary incontinence after prostatectomy significantly reduces the quality of life of the patient and refers to its socially significant consequences.

Introduction. The search for new markers for early diagnosis of prostate cancer (PCa) is an urgent task. The most promising substrate for research are microRNAs.

Materials and methods. Study is based on the results of bioinformatic analysis of mRNA and microRNA sequencing of 184 PCa samples and 50 samples of conditionally healthy prostate tissue.

Purpose of the study. To identify the differences in prostate cancer detected in primary and recurrent BP.

Significant improvement in the quality of visualization of the prostate using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), as well as the development of technologies for virtual combination of MRI and ultrasound images opens new horizons in the diagnosis of prostate cancer. The introduction of the PI-RADS system has allowed the standardization of MRI findings, and the development of fusion biopsy systems seeks to make diagnostics more accurate and less operator-dependent.

Introduction. Approaches to the diagnosis and staging of localized and locally advanced high-risk prostate cancer (PCa-НR) continue to be actively researched and improved.

Introduction. Prostate cancer (PCa) is one of the most common cancers in men. Radical prostatectomy (RP) is one of the main treatment modalities for localized PCa. Erectile dysfunction (ED), being a consequence of surgical treatment, can have detrimental effects on both physical health and psychosocial status and significantly impair the quality of life of patients and their partners. The risk of ED in the postoperative period in patients undergoing RP, according to the modern literature, is about 60–70%.
