The aim of the study was to improve the outcomes of treatment of localized prostate cancer (PC) in patients with contraindications for radical methods.

Aim: The literature review dedicated to the analysis of action of Indigal and Indigal Plus drugs and their active components in patients with chronic diseases of the prostate, such as chronic prostatitis, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) accompanied by mild/severe forms of intraepithelial prostatic neoplasia (PIN), as well as prostate cancer.

The aim of the study: was to evaluate oncological and functional results of HIFU hemiablation in patients with localized prostate cancer.

Introduction. Despite the disappointing statistics of morbidity and mortality rates, prostate cancer is a slow growing tumor and does not always lead to death. Thus, it is of paramountimportance for oncologiststo decidewho should receive aggressive treatment ofrapidly progressing prostate cancer and who should undergo gentle treatment orjust monitoring due to the slowgrowing form of tumor,which isless dangerousfor one’slife.

More than 15 thousand new cases of renal cell carcinoma are registered annually in the world. This is 3% in the structure of the general oncological morbidity of the population and leads it to the third place among oncourological pathologies. The introduction and development of new targeted and immunotherapy drugs does not yet provide a lasting effect in disseminated forms of the disease. This approach is not justified in its localized versions.

Study objective: to study the effectiveness of complex monitoring of the kidney function, based on biochemical and radionuclide (RN) methods; to assess the diagnostic value of biomarkers of chronic kidney disease (CKD) at an early stage, to determine their association with RN parameters and efficacy of immunotherapy in patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC).

The guidelines for treatment of prostate cancer using the HDR-brachytherapy approved during the expert meeting on are presented in this article. The references are given to the guidelines for the technology of prostate brachytherapy. The questions of the diagnostics and patient selection for HDR-brachytherapy are discussed, indications and contraindications are defined for the brachytherapy. Absolute contraindications for brachytherapy are outlined. The treatments strategy is evaluated with regard to the prostate cancer progression risk. The quality control criteria and are presented.

Radical prostatectomy is the gold standard treatment for prostate cancer, the level of patients with persistent loss of erection after radical prostatectomy can reach 28%. Numerous sources have convincingly shown that careful implementation of the program of penile rehabilitation speeds up recovery time of erectile function, and increases the proportion of patients capable of sexual activity at 12 months after surgery radical prostatectomy.
