HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATION IN UROLOGY

Introduction. Currently, existing classifications of kidney injury severity do not indicate the choice of a particular treatment method. The purpose of our study was to retrospectively evaluate the management of patients with isolated kidney injury.

Introduction. Various diseases and injuries of the central or peripheral nervous system can lead to the neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction (NLUTD) development.  There is no information on the number of patients with neurogenic bladder in the general population, which leads to an underestimation of the neurogenic urinary disorders prevalence. 

Introduction. The coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) had a significant impact on the global healthcare sector and provoked the current oncological care standards revision, including the standards in urological oncology. All changes have affected directly the elective outpatient and inpatient surgical care through the search for a priority and evidencebased treatment option for urological cancer diseases during a tense epidemiological period.

Aim. To present the European Society of Clinical Oncology current recommendations for the gynecological cancer treatment on the background of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Introduction. The new coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has made the world medicine to completely change the strategy of care for a number of patients. This publication discusses the issues of providing specialized care to urogynecological patients in the situation of the new coronavirus pandemic, as well as the prospects for the planned surgical treatment restoration after the quarantine is lifted.

Objective. The COVID-19 pandemic has become a test for the global healthcare system. Significant forces have been invested in the treatment of COVID-19, while the interaction of the virus with various organs and systems of the human body has been studied very poorly.

Introduction. In a pandemic of COVID-19 the health systems of all countries are under high pressure and are forced to change depending on the epidemiological situation.

Introduction. A great attention was paid to the urological diseases epidemiology in the USSR and then in the Russian Federation at the FSBI NMRRC of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, led by RAMS Academician, Professor N.A. Lopatkin. Currently, the Institute carries out a constant monitoring of urological morbidity during researches approved by the State Assignment.

Background. Reducing the level of personnel imbalances in the state health care system of Moscow city is one of the priority tasks of development of the capital health care. According to the federal project, the ratio «doctor – middle medical personnel (nurses, paramedics)» by 2024 should be 1:2.32 in Russia and 1:1.63 in Moscow.

The rational use of medical personnel leads not only to a significant improvement in the availability and quality of medical care, but also to a more efficient use of financial and human resources.

Introduction. In recent years, the system of postgraduate education in medicine has faced new challenges and need for improvement. Nowadays the old «once in a lifetime» model becomes impossible, and the traditional education models are giving way to innovative forms of distance education.

Purpose. The purpose of the article is to present the experience of organizing distance education courses for urologists, andrologists, oncourologists and doctors of related specialties.
