HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATION IN UROLOGY

Specifics of current legal framework for the use of novel telemedicine technologies in healthcare system of the state are discussed in this article. Integration of telemedicine into clinical practice and education is demonstrated. Most important and effective examples of implemented telemedicine technology are given from the perspective of evidence-based medicine and economics.

Introduction. Research Institute of Urology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, directed by Acad. of RAMS, Professor Lopatkin N.A., placed a greater focus on the epidemiology of urological diseases, including urolithiasis, in the USSR and the Russian Federation. Currently, the Institute is monitoring urological morbidity, disability and mortality.

Purpose of study. Training of doctors of the city polyclinic in the profile of urology.

Materials and methods. The results of the interviewing of doctors allowed to determine the main reasons for the appointment of consultations of urologists, as well as to develop a form for registration of visits to urologists, followed by filling before and after the cycle of lectures on the profile of urology.

Introduction. Human health is a clearly crucial factor defining the level of socio-economic development of the nation, its safety and quality of life. Personalization of treatment and diagnostics, which also implies patient’s involvement, is a key demand for a new system of healthcare, which is currently being developed in the world.

Aim of the study. To provide the rationale for a model of a patient-centered system of urological health care based on eHealth technologies.

Introduction. In Russia, until now, methodologically correctly organized population studies of LUTS have not been conducted. In this regard, from 2013 to 2016. Research Institute of Urology and Interventional Radiology. N.A Lopatkin conducted a population-based study of the prevalence of LUTS in men in the Bobrovsky district of the Voronezh region, with an assessment of the depenence of symptoms on age and a number of other anthropometric indicators.

Introduction. Glomerular and tubulointerstitial kidney diseases (GTKD) are among the most common in the Russian Federation and appearto be one of the factorsleading to the decrease of the quality of life and disability. The aim of the study is to evaluate the current epidemiologicalsituation regarding the incidence of GRKD and urinary tract infections (UTI) among children and adults living in the Altai Krai over the period of 2007-2016.

Outpatient examinations are followed with urgent necessity of urine analysis, since this procedure is required for diagnostics, evaluation of disease dynamics and also for the control of the effectiveness of treatment. A new level of modern diagnostics has become available with the use of a portable urine analyzer «ETTA AMP-01». Application of this device helps to obtain accurate and objective information regarding the condition of a patient’s urinary tracts, make a plan of appropriate examination and choose the strategy of treatment.

The relevance of research. Prostate cancer (PCa) is an actual medical and social problem. The aim of the study is to analyze the incidence of prostate cancer in Moscow and summarize the experience of organizing the work of the outpatient urological service of the Western District of Moscow on the active detection of PCa.

High numbers of untreated and complicated diseases, which entail considerable costs and impair the effectiveness of treatment, impose the necessity of reconsidering many issues of heal care provision. Taking into consideration this perspective approach, which enables to improve the effectiveness of diagnostics and treatment and lower unreasonable expenditures on health care system, principles of «4P Medicine» are being introduced.

Introdaction and objectives: The aim of the survey was to obtain information on treatment of patients admitted to Moscow urology departments with acute obstructive pyelonephritis (infected hydronephrosis).

Methods: A survey was sent to 17 urologic departments within Moscow. The questionnaire contained questions on medical, technical and organizational aspects of acute obstructive pyelonephritis management.
