HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATION IN UROLOGY

The present study was devoted to the analysis of urological morbidity rate, according to official health care statistics in order to obtain objective information about the status of urological services in the Russian Federation in general, and in some particular regions for period of 2005-2010.

The present research is dedicated to study of disability in the country for over the past two years according to official health care statistics, as far as to structure of disability due to forming genitourinary system disorders in Moscow in the period of 2002 - 2007, to review overall situation in the country and to identify specific patterns and trends.

The paper analyzes the statistics of Moscow City Clinical Hospital № 47, in providing urological care for 352 HIV-infected patients during the period June 1996 to May 2011.

Present study dedicated to analysis of urological and nephrological disease incidence in Russian Federation in recent years (2004–2009) according to Health care and social development department official statistics, specialized regional institutions and federal government sta-tistics department reports.

Radical prostatectomy (RPE) and brachytherapy (BT) belong to main options of prostate cancer (CaP) treatment. Up to present time there are no researches dedicated to comparative analysis of these methods. Discovering the advantages of one of these methods may help to provide their efficiency analysis.

Zaytsevskaya Present research was dedicated to investigation of urological morbidity rates according to official healthcare statistics for the purpose of receiving objective information about urological service state in Russian Federation generally and due to separate regions.

Alternative treatment options can be evaluated by clinical and economic analysis that implicates correlation of costs and efficiency. To collect data about cost-effectiveness of different options of surgical prostate cancer management international publications review was made. This review demonstrated that represented data on clinic and economic analysis of prostate cancer surgical options was insufficient. Observed publications were dedicated generally to evaluation of certain option cost, that could be defined only as a supportive method of clinical an economic analysis.

Renal replacement therapy is vital man­agement of renal failure. Hemodialysis is a hardware-based method of blood clearance, spread widely because of its efficacy. Renal failure morbidity is 150 - 200 cases per 1 million of population yearly. In 2001 in Russian Federation there were 7148 dialysis patients, in 2008 - 21357.
