Article is dedicated to analysis of results of open multicentre research of using doxazosin in combination with Indigal in patients with BPH. Research is held in 8 clinical centre, with 100 patients participating. The subjects for study were efficiency and safety of oral taking of doxazosin in combination with Indigal during a period of six months, long-term follow up was 6 months. Patients took two capsules of Indigal twice a day and doxazosin 2–8 mg, starting with 2 mg with following dose titration. Four visits to doctor were planned.

One of the common urological diseases is urolithiasis. Various groups of drugs are used for concrements delivery. Herbal medicine (essential oils and / or terpenes) has long been used in the treatment of urolithiasis. One of the drugs, which is based on a special combination of terpenes, is Rowatinex having a triple action: lithollitic, spasmolytic and diuretic. The first clinical and preclinical trials with Rowatinex occurred between 1954-1956 yrs. Since that time is has been actively used in the treatment of urolithiasis in many countries around the world.

During last years approaches to medical treatment RCC, especially metastatic forms, have changed in principle. It has been proved the major role of von-Hippel Lindau gene mutations and angiogenesis in RCC development.

At present time radical prostatectomy (RPE) remains one of the most common option of prostate cancer (PCa) surgical treatment. Oncologic specific survival rate is the main criteria of surgical treatment efficiency. One of the factors that can influence on this rate is positive surgical margin that indicates the presence of residual tumor tissues. Due to aforementioned the challenge of intraoperative control methods development is very actual. Fluorescent diagnostics can be considered the possible one. 40 patients were included into research.

Brief definition of immunohistochemical assay was given in this article. The role of immunohistochemical assay in prostate cancer diagnostics was shown. Immunohistochemical markers were divided into two groups: marker for prostate cancer detection and markers for prostate cancer potential assessment. Detailed characteristics of most significant markers were given. In first group following markers were included: cytokeratins, p63 protein, alpha-methylacyl-CoA-racemase.

At present time the challenge of prostate cancer early detection becomes more and more vital due to prostate cancer (PCa) is one of the most common malignant tumors in males. Development and clinical introduction of programs of prostate cancer early detection is not only about a medical concern but about social and economic meaning for government. After introduction 20 years ago PSA test gave a start to early prostate cancer detection era, increased rate of localized curable cancer detection.

Cystitis is one of the most common urological diseases. Up to 40% of females that had bacterial cystitis have a recurrence in nearest 6 months. Management of relapsing infection of lower urinary tract is a hard challenge. Using of hyaluronic acid in treatment of recurrent infection of lower urinary tract is one of promising option. Disregenerative processes in urothelium could be a result of interstitial inflammation with glycosaminoglycans deficit.

Chemical compound of 4217 calculi was analyzed. All calculi were removed surgically, fragmented by extracorporal shock-wave lithotripsy or came out by themselves in patients with urolithiasis managed in Scientific Research Institute of Urology, Russian Healthcare Department in a period of 2005 2009 (males and females age ranged 16 77). The comparative analysis of foregoing decade (1990-2000) data on calculi chemical compound was made. It was shown that oxalate lithiasis remains predominant mineralogical type in Moscow region in a period of 2005-2009.

Report is dedicated to review of scientific researches of female stress continence mechanism made in research institute named after D.O. Ott for last forty years. Basing on own researches, assimilating innovative ideas of other researchers, which were working on this problem at the same time, authors present own "synthetic" conception of female continence in physiological and pathological conditions as a multiple-factor, multiunit system, interaction of every factor of which has mutual connections and mutual dependencies.
