This article evaluates the outcomes of pelvic organ prolapse (POP) repair with innovative super-light vaginal mesh Pelvix. The main feature of this mesh is unique surface density – only 29 g/m2. The results of 165 operations were analyzed at 4 to 15 month (mean-9,6 month) after surgery. All operations were performed vaginally utilizing subfascial implantation technique. Objective success rate was 94,8 to 95,8%. Good subjective results were achieved in 84,2% of cases, satisfactory results – in 11,6%. There were no serious intra- and postoperative complications. Vaginal erosion rate was only 0,6%. Vaginal surgery with Pelvix mesh is safe and effective procedure to correct POP in short-term follow up.
