Medvedev Vladimir Leonidovich leads the Department of X-ray-surgical methods of diagnosis and treatment of the Regional Consultatve and Diagnostc Center in Rostov-on-Don. In 1983 Mr Medvedev graduated from the medical faculty of the Chita Medical Insttute. In 1985 he graduated from clinical residency in the specialtes "Surgery" and "Urology". Also, he has been trained in France, Italy, Germany, the USA and in the leading Russian clinics.

Medvedev Vladimir Leonidovich has worked as a surgeon in the visitng brigades at the BAM. Since 1986 he has been working in Rostov-on-Don. In 1996 he headed the Department of X-ray-surgical methods of diagnosis and treatment in the Rostov Regional Consultatve and Diagnostc Center - school of the higher surgical skill. Medvedev Vladimir Leonidovich has been one of the irst doctors who conducted laparoscopic surgery for prostate, bladder, kidney cancer.

Medvedev Vladimir Leonidovich is the Doctor of Medical Sciences. Honored Doctor of Russia. He has partcipated in numerous Russian and internatonal congresses and conferences. Also, he is the Vice- president of the Associaton of urologists of the Don, the Member of the Board of the Urology Russian Society and of the European Associaton of Urology. Medvedev Vladimir Leonidovich is the author of more than 200 scientic artcles on urology, endoscopic surgery, X-ray-surgical methods of diagnosis and treatment.

Among his practcal actvites there are the endoscopic urology and surgery, urogynecology, urological oncology. Among his scientic and practcal interests - urolithiasis, prostate adenoma (benign prostatc hyperplasia), plastc and reconstructve surgery of the upper and lower urinary tract, oncourology, urogynecology.
