Introduction. Postcoital cystitis is a special form of recurrent cystitis. Against the background of this disease, especially with an aggressive course, the daily activity of patients may change, the quality of life may deteriorate, and sexual dysfunction may develop.

Aim. Study the prevalence of sexual dysfunction in patients with recurrent postcoital cystitis, as well as to assess their quality of life.

Introduction. The main treatment option for symptomatic ureteral stones is contact ureterolithotripsy (CULT), which is usually performed under Xray guidance. However, the risks of complications associated with radiation do not always justify the benefits obtained from its use, which justifies the study of the results of performing Х-ray-free ureterolithotripsy.

Purpose. Evaluation of the efficacy and safety of non-fluoroscopic ureteroscopy in the treatment of symptomatic ureteral stones.

Introduction. Timely diagnosis and treatment of kidney purulent abscesses remains an urgent problem of urology. They often develop in patients with severe concomitant diseases that complicate open surgery on the kidney. Minimally invasive percutaneous drainage may be their method of choice. The purpose of this study was to compare the results of their percutaneous or open lumbotomic drainage.

Actuality. Currently, with extensive narrowing of the ureter, operations such as replacement with a segment of the small intestine and kidney autotransplantation are more often performed. However, these operations are technically complex with a high percentage of various complications. With narrowing of the proximal ureter, when it is not possible to perform uretero-ureteroanastomosis, an alternative may be a replacement by buccal mucosa graft (BMG).

Introduction. Percutaneuos nephrolithotripsy (PNL) is mostly performed through the lower calyceal access, but in a distinct group of patients upper calyceal access is indicated. Our study was aimed at comparing results of PNL performed with different access.

Introduction. Tuberculosis of the urinary bladder leads to its contraction and irreversible decrease in volume, which is defined as a stable aberration of its reservoir function and significant decrease in the quality of life. Augmentation ileocystoplasty and cystectomy combined with orthotopic ileocystoplasty are the standard methods of treating patients with contracted bladders of tubercular etiology. Today, there is the necessity of a more thorough examination and comparison of functional results obtained from these methods of treatment.

Objectification of the indications for the operative treatment of pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence and assessment of treatment efficacy are possible with the use of specific questionnaires. Nowadays in Russia no questionnaires exist for this patient group.

The aim of this study wasthe validation of the Russian versions of the questionnaires for quality of life assessment in patients with pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence.

Aim of the study: to estimate the efficacy of open and minimally invasive interven-tions in patients with urolithiasis after radical cystectomy with orthotopic and het-erotopic cystoplasty. 

Aim: to investigate the functional state of lower urinary tract after various types of reconstruction in patients with long ureteral stenosis.

Article is dedicated to analysis of results of open multicentre research of using doxazosin in combination with Indigal in patients with BPH. Research is held in 8 clinical centre, with 100 patients participating. The subjects for study were efficiency and safety of oral taking of doxazosin in combination with Indigal during a period of six months, long-term follow up was 6 months. Patients took two capsules of Indigal twice a day and doxazosin 2–8 mg, starting with 2 mg with following dose titration. Four visits to doctor were planned.
