Kirpatovsky Vladimir Igorevich

Kirpatovsky Vladimir Igorevich graduated from the 1st Moscow Medical Institute n.a. I.M. Sechenov in 1976. Then he studied surgery at the All-Russia Research Institute of Clinical and Experimental Surgery (now RCRC). Having graduated from the institute, he started working at the Scientific Research Institute of Transplantology and Artificial Organs, where in 1979 he defended his thesis.

In 1988 he joined the Research Institute of Urology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. There till 2017 he managed the Department of Experimental Modeling of Urological Diseases.

In 1998 he defended his doctoral thesis.

In 2007 he became Full Professor in "Urology". Now he is the chief researcher of the department of laboratory and clinical diagnostics.

His main field of activity is modeling of urological diseases in animals, studying their pathogenesis and evaluating the effectiveness of new treatment methods. In recent years, he has been studying the possibilities of using cellular technologies in treating urological diseases and regenerating the damaged organs.

Under his scientific supervision 3 doctoral and 15 candidate dissertations have been defended. Dr. Kirpatovsky has published more than 350 works in Russian and foreign journals.
