Komarova Vera Alexandrovna graduated from the 2^nd Moscow Medical Institute n.a. N.I. Pirogov in 1965 and then worked in the Research Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery n.a. A.N. Bakulev. There she studied the issues of medical cybernetics, development and creation of medical information systems.

In 1972 she defended her thesis on "Differential diagnosis of mitral and mitral-aortic defects with the help of a computer" problem.

Since 1989 and up to the present she has worked in the Research Institute of Urology and Interventional Radiology n.a. N.A. Lopatkin as a leading researcher. The Institute is engaged in the issues of information support of scientific research and studies of urological and uronephrologic morbidity, disability and mortality in the Russian Federation.

Dr. Komarova participated in various congresses, scientific conferences on the crucial problems of modern urology. She is the author of 40 scientific works.
