Introduction. The variety of etiopathogenesis of urolithiasis and the presence of various concomitant pathologies in patients with urinary tract stones requires an individual approach to their treatment.

Materials and methods. A retrospective analysis of the treatment results was performed in 208 patients, 124 (59,6%) men and 84 (40,4%) women, aged 19 to 84 years (average age – 53,5±14,6 years), who were operated for nephrolithiasis. Demographic data, comorbid background of patients, therapeutic tactics and treatment results are analyzed.

Results and discussion. Most patients included in this retrospective study are young and middle-aged men. Concomitant pathology occurred in 34 (16,3%) patients, 16 had several diseases. Hypertension was most common in 52 (25%) patients. The choice of treatment tactics for nephrolithiasis depending from comorbid diseases on the example of the treatment of three patients is demonstrated. The use of a personalized approach made it possible to successfully rid patients of concretions and avoid serious complications due to decompensation of concomitant pathology.

Conclusions. The choice of therapeutic tactics in patients with urolithiasis with a burdened comorbid background, which limits the possibilities of surgical treatment of urolithiasis, requires a personalized approach, as well as the consistent or simultaneous use of various surgical techniques to remove nodules from the urinary tract.
