Introduction. The influence of the age phenomenon on the outcome of the surgical treatment of benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) research is insufficient. Considering the wide use of the more advanced laser enucleation method in the surgical treatment of BPH, there is a need to evaluate the efficiency and safety of this technique among aged patients compared to younger age groups. In this review the task was to evaluate the impact of the age phenomenon on the result of treatment, using the available scientific literature.

Introduction. The main treatment option for symptomatic ureteral stones is contact ureterolithotripsy (CULT), which is usually performed under Xray guidance. However, the risks of complications associated with radiation do not always justify the benefits obtained from its use, which justifies the study of the results of performing Х-ray-free ureterolithotripsy.

Purpose. Evaluation of the efficacy and safety of non-fluoroscopic ureteroscopy in the treatment of symptomatic ureteral stones.

Introduction. Treatment of the patients with large volume BPH and bladder stones is an urgent problem of endoscopic treatment. The aim of the study is to evaluate the possibility of simultaneous enucleation of the prostate and cystolithotripsy using the thulium fiber laser.

Material and methods. Operated on 43 patients aged 69,1 (61-79), with volume prostate 98,5 (83-155) cm³ and bladder stones 16,5 (5-35) mm.

Introduction. Currently, ureteroscopy has become the method of choice for the treatment of patients with ureter stone location in lower third and middle third. Regardless of the fact that ureteroscopy is an endoscopic, minimally invasive intervention, it is associated with intraoperative complications.

Introduction. Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a common disease among men over 40 years old. Transurethral resection of the prostate has traditionally been considered the «gold standard» for surgical treatment of patients with BPH. The emergence and popularization of laser energy has led to the development of surgical technologies that can closely approach, and in some cases even exceed the effectiveness and safety of TURP.

Introduction. Frequent problem in everyday urology practice is the management of patients with large ureteral stones and clinically significant residual fragments after PCNL of large or staghorn caliculi and ESWL as part of the subsequent "sandwich therapy". There are a lot of different surgical methods of treating large or residual ureteral caliculi, we also decided to offer our operative technique named retrograde ureterolithotripsy with antegrade installation of the ureteral sheath.

Introduction. Retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) increasingly used for upper urinary tract stones removal. According to the he Russian society of urologists guidelines RIRS considered as a first- and second-line option for kidney stones up to 2 cm. The main limitation for its widespread adoption in routine practice are high cost of equipment and consumables. The aim of our study was to evaluate a new reusable fiber-optic ureterorenoscope «SemiFlex Scope».

Introduction. Bladder neck sclerosis (BNS) is a widespread complication of the surgical treatment of prostate diseases. Nevertheless, the etiology and pathogenesis of BNC development are not well understood, the frequency and degree of iatrogenic BNS varies depending on what treatment took place before its appearance. Treatment options for BNS can vary from simple dilatation to complex surgical interventions.

Introduction. This review describes experience of using micropercutaneous nephrolithotripsy by various authors, history of the development this technology, modern indications, steps of the operation and its modifications, outcomes and comparison with other techniques.

Introduction. Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PNL) is the method of choice for the treatment of patients with kidney stones larger than 2 cm. Mini-percutaneous nephrolithotomy (mini-PNL) became widespread due to reduction of injury associated with surgical approach. Creation of puncture access to the pelvicalyceal system without ureteral catheterization is also recently described. The main benefits of such technique are reduction of total operative time and the radiation exposure to the patient and medical personnel.
