Comparison of disposable flexible ureteroscopes with flexible video and digital ureteroscopes

11205

Relevance. The appearance of disposable flexible ureteroscope on the market is a significant breakthrough in endourology. Routine implementation of flexible ureteropyeloscopy in clinical practice impliessignificant costs for initial acquisition and subsequent expensive maintenance of endoscopes. In addition, aer plasma sterilization it is not always possible to achieve complete sterility in the working channel of the instrument, which can lead to the development of infectious and inflammatory complications with severe consequences for the patient.

Partial duplication of the urethra: the paraurethral duct. Errors in diagnostics and treatment

17912

Duplication of the urethra is a rare abnormality, which forms during embryogenesis from the urethral groove. Up to the date, only about 500 cases of urethral duplication have been described. Its most common form isthe formation of the paraurethral duct. This abnormality is not followed by any symptoms and may be revealed only in case of infection by the signs of dysuria, which are similar to the clinical course of acute prostatitis or urethritis. Forthe diagnostics of the condition, thoroughful history taking, symptom analysis, ureteroscopy and retrograde urethrography should be performed.

Retrograde and antegrade accessin combination endoscopic treatment of stones in the proximal region of the ureteral duct

13858

Introduction. Surgical treatment of stones in the proximal region of the ureteral duct is a complex clinical issue. Despite the availability of various methods of endoscopic treatment, the use of standard approaches does not allow to achieve the optimal results in a number of cases. The application of elastic ureterostenoscopes as a part of a combined treatment allows to overcome the intraoperative complications and technical limitations of rigid endoscopes, and also to increase the effectiveness of the intervention.

Choice of the method and duration of drainage of the calyx-pelvis kidney system after endoureterotomy in patients with and without previously established nephrostomy drainage

10852

Introduction. there is lack of specific guidelines regarding the choice of ureteral stent type and duration of postoperative renal drainage after endoureterotomy. Aim of our study is to examine the influence of calyceal drainage type and duration after endoureterotomy.

Single laparoscopic surgery (SILS) in comparison with standart laparoscopic pyeloplasty

9091

Aim. To assess the perioperational parameters of laparoscopic pyeloplasty performed by the method of single incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS) in comparison with standard laparoscopy.

Patients and methods. 36 patients underwent pyeloplasty using SILS, 101 patients underwent standard pyeloplasty. Parameters evaluated: duration of the operation, blood loss, use of analgesic therapy, duration of hospitalization after surgery, complications, success rate of the operation.

Stones in the urinary bladder and their endoscopic treatment. A contemporary approach

12879

Introduction: the aim of our study was to obtain relevant characterization of patients with stones in the bladder and also to evaluate the results of endoscopic treatment in the conditions of a modern urological clinic.

Materials and methods: the prospective study included data of 79 patients, who underwent endoscopic removal of stones from the bladder in urological departments of the university hospital of the Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry in 2016.

Duration of the laparoendoscopic single site nephrectomy learning curve

7221

Introduction: Currently, the treatment standard of patients with renal masses and a nonfunctional kidney are endovideo-surgical operations, among which the least invasive are laparoendoscopic single-site (LESS) operations.

Objective: Studying of the LESS nephrectomy (LESS-N) learning curve, its effect on the operations results, and comparative analysis of the LESS -N and conventional laparoscopic nephrectomy (CLN) results.

Ureteral amputation in the implementation of contact ureterolithotripsy: diagnosis and treatment tactics (clinical observation)

12915

Amputation of the ureter is a complication in which its separation occurs on two levels. The frequency of this complication in the world literature varies from 0.1 to 0.2%. From 2008 to 2015 in the urological clinic MONIKI n. M.F. Vladimirsky 545 years endoscopic operations were performed in 506 patients with ureterolithiasis. In our study, ureteral amputation was noted in one observation (0.2%). One of the possible mechanisms of amputation of the ureter may be the invagination of its wall in the zone of the calculus.

Creating of the authentic model of human renal collecting system for training percutaneous nephrolithotomy acces in cases of complex kidney stones

9670

Purpose. The objective was to develop an anatomically rate, nonbiologic, cost-effective model of renal collecting system and upper segment of ureter for training PCNL access under fluoroscopic guidance in cases of complex kidney stones.
