The present study was devoted to the analysis of urological morbidity rate, according to official health care statistics in order to obtain objective information about the status of urological services in the Russian Federation in general, and in some particular regions for period of 2005-2010. We analyzed data on different urological diseases including glomerular, tubulointerstitial kidney diseases, other diseases of kidney and ureter, chronic renal failure, urolithiasis, prostate gland diseases, malignant neoplasms of urinary bladder, prostate gland and kidneys. We evaluated the incidence of bladder and prostate neoplasms, it’s morbidity dynamics and mortality rates of diseases of the genitourinary system, malignant neoplasms of the urinary tract and male reproductive organs. The results showed that the information available in accessible sources on urological and oncourological morbidity allow to make some preliminary conclusions on the evaluation of the effectiveness of national health care system during the term of national project “Zdorov’e”, but its volume is insufficient. Obviously we need the introduction of innovative technologies in the organization of statistics, as well as creation of a register of urological diseases with extensive detailed specification of nosological forms and statistics data.

Undoubtedly there is a positive tendency of increase of oncouropatholoy detection rate at periodic health examinations.
