Premature ejaculation (PE), as the most common sexual dysfunction, provokes a lot of discussion and disputes in the scientific community, and also significantly reduces the quality of sex life. Modern terminology of PE is based on not persuasive methodological studies, what creates difficulties for urologists/andrologists in choosing the right method of treatment. This paper presents the modern concept of etiopathogenesis, diagnostics and treatment of rapid ejaculation.
