Introduction. The interaction of the tumor stroma and parenchyma with epithelial cells of bladder cancer (BCa) plays a crucial role in the course and progression of the disease. However, currently, there are no clearly defined markers reflecting the tumor microenvironment, which hinders the assessment of their impact on the course of BCa.

Objective. To analyze current understanding of the BCa microenvironment and identify immunohistochemical (IHC) markers of the tumor stroma and parenchyma.

Introduction. This study was aimed at dynamic evaluation of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) after endoscopic surgery for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) depending on prostate volume.

Introduction. The Metabolic Syndrome (MS) is the modern pandemic both developed, and developing countries. The MS acts as risk factor of development of cardiovascular accidents, insulin resistance and an hypogonadism.

Research objective: searching of correlations of a metabolic syndrome with a syndrome of chronic pelvic pain and violation of a miktion at men.

Objective: to develop an algorithm for screening hypogonadism for men undergoing medical examination to detect diseases of the prostate.

In this review we systemize data on the modern approaches to the non-invasive evaluation of the nfravesical obstruction in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). The following investigations are discussed: questionnaires, ultrasound for prostatic status (volume of transitional zone, gland form, protrusion into the bladder, 3D-study) and bladder status (residual urine volume, thickness of the bladder wall, bladder mass).

The frequency of the urolithiasis in the world according to some cross-sectional studies stays at the level of 3.5-9.6%. In the last 10 years the urolithiasis in many countries shows a tendency for growth. Metabolic syndrome (MS) is a pathologic complex of the symptoms, which includes different metabolic and hormonal disturbances. The frequency of the MS in the population is rather high, and according to scientific data is at the level of 14-39%. Recently it was supposed, that urolithiasis and MS share common entities.
