Introduction. Various diseases and injuries of the central or peripheral nervous system can lead to the neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction (NLUTD) development.  There is no information on the number of patients with neurogenic bladder in the general population, which leads to an underestimation of the neurogenic urinary disorders prevalence.

Objective: Due to the low availability of the neurourological care patients with neurogenic low urinary tract dysfunction (NLUTD) need a proper information about methods of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for their condition.

Material: The Urological department of Ural State Medical University had created a web site «Neurogenic Bladder League» containing educational materials about NLUTD.

The aim of the study was the estimation of practical benefit for the assessment of putative biomarkers of the detrusor overactivity (DO) in the blood and urine of patients together with other diagnostic modalities. Twenty patients with voiding dysfunction in age 28 to 60 years were included in the study. Control group consisted of 20 healthy patients (age 2072 years).

Article is dedicated to analysis of results of open multicentre research of using doxazosin in combination with Indigal in patients with BPH. Research is held in 8 clinical centre, with 100 patients participating. The subjects for study were efficiency and safety of oral taking of doxazosin in combination with Indigal during a period of six months, long-term follow up was 6 months. Patients took two capsules of Indigal twice a day and doxazosin 2–8 mg, starting with 2 mg with following dose titration. Four visits to doctor were planned.

Urethrosuspension that appeared slightly more than ten years ago becomes “gold standard” for stress urinary incontinence treatment in women. The procedure has displaced a numerous surgical treatment methods for the disease out of clinical practice. Low operative trauma, relatively simple urethrosuspension performing and high efficacy underlie its wide application.
