EXPERIMENTAL UROLOGY

The paper studies the adaptogenic properties of 0.06% sodium hypochlorite solution (SH). The study was conducted in three groups of 15 outbred male rats. Intact group was of 5 rats subjected to no influence. The control group consisted of 5 animals, they were injected intraperitoneally with 1 ml of a saline solution once a day for 4 days. The experimental group consisted of 5 rats, they were injected intraperitoneally with 1 ml of 0.06% solution of the SH daily for 4 days (1.5-1.8 mg / kg).

Uremic toxins accumulate in patients with chronic kidney disease. These molecules may deteriorate the biochemical and physiological dysfunctions that define the uremic syndrome. Earlier studies concentrated on small water soluble and large middle molecules. However, the focus of the clinicians is shifting toward protein-bound uremic toxins recently. Protein-bound uremic toxins, including many kinds of different toxins, have been neglected for a long time and its clinical importance has been demonstrated in recent years.

In experiment on 20 rats we studied the effect of a 4-hour acute urinary retention (AUR) on the functional state of the bladder and the change in activity of some enzymes (AST and ALT transaminases, lactate dehydrogenase - LDH, alkaline phosphatase - ALP, y-glutamyltranspeptidase-GGTP, N-acetyl -p-glycosidase - NAG and cholinesterase - CE) in the urine and the bladder wall, comparing them with the changes after 2-hour total ischemia of the bladder caused by pelvic clamping of the aorta.

Recurrent calcium urolithiasis is often characterised by hyper excretion of magnesium in urine, which however is not a protective feature referring to calculi relapse, as far as in these patients have more severe recurrence clinical manifestation.

Effects of botulinum toxin injection into detrusor on autonomic regulation were studied in normal and after 1 month of infravesical obstruction modeling. The paper is dedicated to study of mechanism of sodium hypochlorite effect on renal concentration function. In two experimental series we studied metabolism parameters and functional ability of kidneys of intact rats after parenteral administration of sodium hypochlorite (SH) solution and opportunities to enhance renal structural-functional tolerance to ischemia upon parenteral administration of 0,06% SH solution in preischemic period.
