Introduction. When performing laparoscopic or robot-assisted radical prostatectomy for hemostatic purposes, polymer clips are widely used. In this case, one of the possible complications of the postoperative period is the migration of the clip into the urinary tract. We present a clinical case of the formation of concretion in the bladder as a result of migration of the Hem-o-lok clip after robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy.

Clinical case. A clinical case of surgical treatment of a patient with sclerosis of the bladder neck after surgical treatment of prostate cancer, bladder concretion formed around the Hem-o-lok clip is presented.

Discussion. The world literature describes cases of clip migration into the bladder, urethra, rectumafter prostatectomy. The frequency of this complication according to the literature is less than 1% and ultrasound and cystoscopic examination is necessary for its diagnosis.

Conclusions. After the robotic radical prostatectomy with Hem-o-lok clips, in the presence of dysuria, an ultrasound examination of the bladder is necessary to exclude the presence of the Hem-o-lok clip and early removal, to prevent further incrustation.
