Introduction. Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in men, primarily post-prostatectomy, remains a common and socially significant complication. Among surgical treatment options, alongside the artificial urinary sphincter, various sling systems are widely used. However, there is currently no unified classification of these implants in the literature, which complicates their comparative analysis, the choice of optimal tactics, and the development of new devices.

Introduction. The prolapse quality-of-life questionnaire (P-QoL) is one of a few standardized questionnaires developed to assess the impact of pelvic organ prolapse (POP) on the quality of life (QoL) of patients and determine the effectiveness of reconstructive surgery. The lack of a validated Russian-language version of the P-QoL questionnaire limits studies assessing the severity of symptoms and QoL in women with POP before and after reconstructive surgery in Russia.

Introduction. Vesicovaginal fistula (VVF) is a pathological communication between the urinary bladder and the vagina. The lack of common approaches to the treatment choice, its timing and postoperative management of patients makes this disorder one of the challenges of modern urogynecology.

Materials and methods. Relevant publications were searched using the PubMed database, the Google Scholar search system, and the scientific electronic library eLibrary.ru.

Overactive bladder (OAB) significantly decreases quality of life for many patients worldwide. However, today there is no «gold standard» for treatment of this condition. This fact urges us to look for new methods of treatment. OAB symptoms are often encountered in patients with pelvic organ prolapse (POP). This issue is most important for patients with minor prolapse (stages 1-2), when there are no indications for large scale surgical reconstruction using implants, but patients’ quality of life is already impaired due to OAB.

Aim: of our study was to compare the safety and efficiency of percutaneous nephrolithotripsy (PNL)in patientswith positive urine culture results butwithout the symptoms of urinary tract infection (UTI), and to determine the optimal duration of preoperative antibiotic therapy in this group of patients.

Aim: To evaluate the results of stress urinary incontinence (SUI) treatment using a transobturator adjustable sling.

Objectification of the indications for the operative treatment of pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence and assessment of treatment efficacy are possible with the use of specific questionnaires. Nowadays in Russia no questionnaires exist for this patient group.

The aim of this study wasthe validation of the Russian versions of the questionnaires for quality of life assessment in patients with pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence.

The problem of the surgical treatment in female patients with pelvic organ prolapse and stress incontinence of the middle and elderly age group is very actual, given wide prevalence of the disease and the absence of the effective conservative treatment. This review is devoted to the actual state of prosthetic pelvic floor reconstruction. Uncomplicated stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is a place for active recommendations to implant the full-size midurethral slings, given the suboptimal efficacy of mini-slings.

This article evaluates the outcomes of pelvic organ prolapse (POP) repair with innovative super-light vaginal mesh Pelvix. The main feature of this mesh is unique surface density – only 29 g/m2. The results of 165 operations were analyzed at 4 to 15 month (mean-9,6 month) after surgery. All operations were performed vaginally utilizing subfascial implantation technique. Objective success rate was 94,8 to 95,8%. Good subjective results were achieved in 84,2% of cases, satisfactory results – in 11,6%. There were no serious intra- and postoperative complications.
