In the experiment with 32 male rats we have investigated the action of the low-intensity shock waves (LISW) in the prostate area at the hemodynamics and metabolism of the prostate and also at the tissue penetrability for the antibiotics. The assumption was the possible application of this method in patients with chronic bacterial prostatitis.

The paper is dedicated to the mechanism of adaptogenic effect of sodium hypochlorite (SH). The studies were performed in three groups of 45 albino male rats. Group of intact animals were 5 rats. The rats in the control group (n = 20) were daily intraperitoneally (i / p) administered for 1.5 ml of saline for 4 days. The rats in the experimental group (n = 20) were similarly injected with 1.5 ml 0.06% solution of SH. The results in the group of intact rats were considered the normal values.

Cystitis is one of the most common urological diseases. Up to 40% of females that had bacterial cystitis have a recurrence in nearest 6 months. Management of relapsing infection of lower urinary tract is a hard challenge. Using of hyaluronic acid in treatment of recurrent infection of lower urinary tract is one of promising option. According to publications bone-marrow mesenchymal stem cells can improve chronic inflammation because of cytokine complexes secretion.

The paper is dedicated to study of mechanism of sodium hypochlorite effect on renal concentration function. In two experimental series we studied metabolism parameters and functional ability of kidneys of intact rats after parenteral administration of sodium hypochlorite (SH) solution and opportunities to enhance renal structural-functional tolerance to ischemia upon parenteral administration of 0,06% SH solution in preischemic period.

In rat model perspective of two novel trends of preventing and treatment of acute post-ischemic renal failure (ARF) was investigated, in particular application of two drugs referred to novel class of antioxidants, which are selectively accumulated in mitochondria of renal tubular epithelium, which conditionally denoted as SkQ1 and SkQR, as well as administration of cultured human bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSC) and cultured fetal renal cells (CRC).

Th e article covers the debate about prostatic structure on the assumption of benign hyperplasia. Terminological questions have been discussed and it has been exposed that the most correct term to use is «prostatic hypertrophy » or «prostatic hyperplasia », the last one – as a morphological process, underlying hypertrophy. Morphogenetic phases of processes, underlying benign hyperplasia, have been defi ned. Th e base of these processes is forming of proliferative centers which are morphologically analogous to Samb`s nests in mammary.
