Relevance. In males with sexual dis­orders hyperprolactinemia is deter­mined in 0,4-11% of cases, and in some studies achieves 20%, due to which assessment of the prolactin level in blood is an important part of erectile dysfunction diagnostics. Objective. To study frequency of oc­currence and general clinical presen­tation of hyperprolactinemia in pa­tients with erectile dysfunction (ED). Materials and methods. We have ex­amined a big group of patients with ED of different etiology. Hyperpro­lactinemia was detected in 69 (9%) patients of general group.

Basic parameters of spermatogenesis in 6 almost healthy males aged from 26 to 41 volunteered in 500 day isolation experiment were studied. During 500 days they were in conditions imitating a manned flight. Male sexual function was evaluated due to BSF 1 criteria. Initial results were normal due to WHO recommendations. 500 days after isolation, detachment from common working rhythm and sexual abstinence in ejaculate analysis multidirectional influence of these factors were discovered.

Objective – comparative study of benign prostatic hyperplasia surgical treatment results after extraurethral, endourethral, transurethral and retropubic approaches.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is one of the most common diseases of older men. But the pathogenesis of the relationship of erectile dysfunction and lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) in this patients while not fully understood. The article presents different pathophysiological theory, confirming this relationship. Drug therapy in patients with BPH and erectile dysfunction is mostly preferred option.

Introduction. Extensive studies of different kinds of sperm pathologies medication management were conducted in recent two decades. It was shown that sperm cell motility reduction might be caused by lipid peroxidation activation in cells. Objective. To determine the influence of medications with proved antioxidant activity on ejaculate fertile indications in males with idiopathic infertility. Materials and methods. 39 patients' with idiopathic infertility ejaculate was surveyed. Following medications were used in our research: ovodorin, mexidol, semax.

This article is dedicated to the history of Russian andrology, that appeared as a part of urology. Separation of urology from clinical surgery took place in the early fifties of 19th century and was connected with a name of medical surgery academy professor P.P. Zabolovskij– Desjatovskij. This article emphasizes that formation of urology as an independent discipline led to organization of first Russian urological department under the Moscow university in 1866.

Introduction. Peyronie disease is a focal fibrosis of penile fibrous tunic. Peyronie disease in last decade becomes very important social problem in urological patients. Peyronie disease morbidity rates are 388 per 10000, increase for 25.7 per 10000 per year. Etiology and pathogenesis of Peyronie disease is still not totally investigated. Mean patients' age 50 60 years, 25% of them have erectile dysfunction. Peyronie disease morbidity correlates with age.

Fournier's Gangrene is a fulminating spontaneous necrosis of scrotum. Necrotic process can hit genitalia, peritoneum. Traumatic and infectious etiology. Manifestation is after 2 7 days: acute pain in scrotum, necrosis symptoms. Lethality rates up to 30 40%, directly proportional to affected area. In case of testis involvement lethality rates raise up to 60 90%.
