Introduction. Various forms of urolithiasis are associated with a number of disorders and diseases in the pathogenesis of which lipid metabolism plays a significant role.

Objective. To determine the stereotype of consumption of fats, saturated fatty acids and cholesterol by patients with calcium and non-calcium urolithiasis.

Introduction. Purine dysmetabolism is occured by increased production of uric acid, which leads to hyperuricemia and hyperuricuria. The most common forms of purine metabolism disorders are the uratenephropathy, gout, and asymptomatic hyperuricemia.

Purpose. To evaluate the data published from 1992 to 2021 on the prevalence, forms of purine metabolism disorders, diagnostics and methods of their treatment. Two hundred and seventy original publications were identified, of which 37 were selected and analyzed.

Relevance. Urolithiasis is still one of the most widespread and actively progressing diseases. The high incidence of complications from taking chemical drugs has become the main reason for the change in attitudes towards herbal medicines, and now the treatment with herbal medicines is returning again, revealing its benefits based on evidencebased medicine. Phytochemicals have a positive effect on the gut microbiome and are widely used to prevent and treat obesity, liver, intestinal and inflammatory diseases.

Introduction. Urolithiasis is a widespread disease with high the frequency of recurrence. An important preventive measure is an increase in daily urine output. Patients with urolithiasis need to take into account the mineral the composition of the fluid consumed, since it can affect the formation of stones. It is especially important to pay attention to the composition of bottled water purchased in retail chains due to its significant differences.

Introduction. Lithokinetic therapy after remote shock wave uretero lithotripsy (SWL) is an obligatory stage in the postoperative management of patients with urolithiasis. In the postoperative period, it is extremely important to correctly determine the required drug, its dosage and frequency of administration. According to clinical guidelines, it is customary to use standard schemes of lithokinetic therapy, including non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in combination with α-blockers.

Introduction. Treatment and especially prevention of recurrent stone formation is a relevant topic for scientific research. One of the principles of metaphylaxis is lifestyle modification for example assessment and correction of food stereotypes, physical activity, sleep and rest mode, and rejection of bad habits.

Materials and Methods. We analyzed the functionality of electronic tools available today for patients in the Russian Federation, such as: portable gadgets and medical devices.

Introduction. The history of treatment of urolithiasis has more than three hundred years and all this time represents a dynamic evolution of approaches and methods. Even today, the treatment of urolithiasis is not «static» and is evolving in step with medical technologies.

In this regard, the development of methods for high-precision determination of the chemical nature of urinary stones using modern technologies is relevant for modern urology.

Introduction. In modern scientific literature it is becoming increasingly popular to study Quality of Life (QoL) index as an integral indicator of the entire therapeutic complex. QoL along with physical examination, laboratory and instrumental tests allows a doctor to fully assess patient’s condition. That is why the QoL researches has been recently become more and more widespread in the scientific papers.
