Introduction. The alfuzosin and solifenacin combination has previously demonstrated high efficacy and safety in patients with BPH and overactive bladder (OAB), including with severe LUTS, if cases of mechanical type of bladder outlet obstruction (BOO) were excluded. The present study aim was to confirm the efficacy and safety of such combination therapy in patients with severe urinary disorders according to uroflowmetry (UFM).

Introduction. Urinary incontinence (UI) is one of the main long-term complications following prostate surgery, whether for cancer-related or benign conditions. According to the literature, UI occurs in 1-10% of cases, though some studies report rates as high as 50%. One of the surgical option for UI is the placement of a male sling. Despite the low level of evidence attributed to this method, interest in and the desire to utilize a less invasive procedure (compared to an artificial urinary sphincter) have persisted for decades.

Introduction. Recently, the first generalized data on the efficacy and safety of alfuzosin (Alfuprost® MR) and solifenacin (Vesigamp) combination therapy (CT) in patients with LUTS/BPH and hyperactive bladder (ОАВ) have been published based on the results of the multicenter observational «AVIATOR» study. This was the first study of alfuzosin and solifenacin combination, in which a set of validated questionnaires was used to assess symptoms.

Introduction. The functional bladder outlet obstruction (fBOO) in women is one of the urgent and dif-ficult tasks of functional urology. As a conservative treatment, pelvic floor muscle training is widely used, including using the method of biofeedback (BFB).

Introduction. the issue of choosing a proper method of treatment and diagnosticsfor chronic abacterial prostatitis/ chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS) is a topic for extensive scientific discussion. Objective: To evaluate sleep disorders changes in adults with neurogenic detrusor overactivity (NDO) after botulinum toxin type A (BTA) treatment.

The influence of botulinum toxin A type 1 (BTA) dose on the efficacy of therapy in patients with neurogenic and idiopathic detrusor overactivity was studied and the incidence of urinary difficulties in the early period after botulinum therapy was studied. It was found that BTA-therapy in all patients led to a significant improvement in the state of urination, a decrease the frequency of urination, episodes of urinary incontinence, and improve all parameters of a complex urodynamic study.

Rapid development of female urology is determined by the spread of such diseases as urine incontinence (UI), recurrent cystitis, dysfunctional urination, neurogenic bladder dysfunction and chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS). The complexity of curing these diseases lies in the fact that they are often combined with inflammatory changes, cause them and sometimes are the result of them or the result of a negative consequence of inflammation treatment.

Clinical manifestations of neurogenic bladder dysfunction (NBD) have a significant impact on all aspects of life — social, family, professional and sexual. 

Anxiety, depression and other psychological problems occur often as complications of somatic diseases, including the neurogenic dysfunction of the urinary bladder (NDUB), which appears as the urgency, often together with the urgent urinary incontinence (UUI). 

Lower urinary tract dysfunction, related to the neurological diseases/neural damage (neurological infections, spinal disorders, trauma, cerebrovascular problems, etc.) is one of the frequent reasons for the consultation by neurourologist.
