Number of infertile marriages has increased in the world in the last decades, largely associated with a male factor due to a decline in parameters of fertility of the ejaculate, mostly in the form of asthenoteratozoospermia. 

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is an important problem in elder men. BPH was shown to be linked to many other diseases: obesity, arterial hypertension, atherosclerosis, diabetes mellitustype 2, psoriasis, non-alcoholic fat liver disease and many others. The common for all those diseases is a chronic indolent inflammation (low grade inflammation, LGI) and inflammation-induced insulin resistance (IR). Features of LGU and IR are present in patients with BPH, and anti-inflammatory medications ameliorate the BPH symptoms.

It is known the obesity is the chronic metabolic disease characterized by excessive development of adipose tissue. Obesity leads to a reduced quality of life, including such factors as the physical and psychosocial activities. e literature data suggests that deterioration in the quality of life in verweight men associated with erectile dysfunction (ED), low sexual satisfaction, decreased libido. A limited number of studies sexual function in men with obesity indicate the need for further research in this area.

Retrograde ejaculation is a retrograde propulsion of seminal fluid during expulsion and often a cause of male infertility. In this review we discuss the main therapeutic options for this problem, including the assisted reproductive technologies (AST) and their efficacy for pregnancy achievement and healthy birth in patients with retrograde ejaculation.

In this article we present the current evidence to fertility preservation possibilities in patients with germ cell testicular tumors (GCTT). GCTTs are nowadays most common in European men in the age of 15-40 years, overall in 1% of fertile men and are often develop in connection with cryptorhidism and hypospadias.

Data to the incidence of chronic prostatitis in different countries indicates the upwards trend of this disease with involvement of young patient contingent of men, being socially and reproductive active. The russian authors show the incidence rate from 8 to 35% in the age of 20-45 years. 

Introduction. Iinfertility leads to emotional stress, which is a precipitating factor of depression. Stress has also been recognized as one of possible reasons of pathospermia and infertility. 

The aim of study: to evaluate selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors (SSRIs) effects on spermatogenesis in the treatment of depression. 

We have performed a preliminary study of the efficacy for new medication Infemin based on diindolylmethane (DIM) with improved bioavailability. Eleven patients were included with diagnosed prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PIN) and a background of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). First group (4 patients) received Infemin 900 mg pro day, the second group (n=7) received placebo.

Introduction. One of the possible causes of idiopathic infertility (II) is the DNA fragmentation (DNAF), break of the single or both chains of the DNA molecule. Reducing the severity of fragmentation is reasonable as treatment modality. Hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO) was studied with regard to the changes in DNA fragmentation severity. 

Premature ejaculation (PE) is one of the frequent sexual disorders affecting approximately 31% of male population. The Russian version of the “Uzbek Index of Premature Ejaculation” (UIPE) was adapted for the self-assessment by the patients, who speak only Uzbek.

Objective. To validate the UIPE against the original, Russian, version of the questionnaire.
