Distance education is rapidly captures the enormous audience. Massive online open courses are offered by best universities in the world such as Stanford, Harvard, Berkley and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In the next 10 years, the audience of some educational platforms will exceed one billion people. Digitalization and the use of modern communication technologies could lead to radical changes in the most conservative area of education – medical education. There are several objective reasons for this.

In this review we systemize data on the modern approaches to the non-invasive evaluation of the nfravesical obstruction in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). The following investigations are discussed: questionnaires, ultrasound for prostatic status (volume of transitional zone, gland form, protrusion into the bladder, 3D-study) and bladder status (residual urine volume, thickness of the bladder wall, bladder mass).

Our study represents the analysis of treatment outcomes and safety of Prostatinol in 40 patients (age 20 – 50 years) with chronic prostatitis (CP), chronic prostatovesiculitis and chronic urethroprostatitis. All patients had the typical symptoms – pain in the perineal and suprapubic regions, testes and loin, dysuria, deterioration of erection and decrease in penetrance phase time. CP was confirmed in all cases and all patients reported acceptable quality of life.

Nowadays the erectile dysfunction is considered the key point in understanding of the mechanisms of development and progression of cardiovascular diseases. The number of patients with risk factors of cardiovascular diseases increases together with the worldwide frequency of sexual disorders. Every year about 17 million people die of cardiovascular diseases. During the last decades various surgical and endovascular methods of treatment of this pathology have been actively used.

Nowadays the data revealing relationship between chronic bacterial prostatitis (CBP) and androgen suppression is lacking. The aim of the study was to provide the pathogenetic explanation of the CBP role in the development of the androgen deficiency (AD) in fertile patients.

The last epidemiological data were gathered in Russian Federation based on the questionnaire survey of 1225 respondents in year 2012. MIEF-5 analysis shows that only 10.1% are not having the erectile dysfunction (ED) with mild ED in 71.3%, moderate ED – 6.6% and severe ED in 12% of respondents. Thus, 1101 / 1225 patients (89.9%) had the symptoms of ED.

The most common pathogenetic factor for erectile dysfunction is a vascular lesion, and it is often systemic disease. Therefore, the identification of vascular origin of erectile dysfunction can be a reason for comprehensive examination of the cardiovascular system. The lack of published data on the connection between arteriogenic erectile dysfunction and cardiovascular disease caused of the organization of our study. We examined 481 adult male with complaints of erectile dysfunction.

Chronic prostatitis (CP) stays at the first place in the structure of the inflammatory diseases of the genital sphere in men. Incidence of the CP in general population is 9%, in the structure of the urological consultations – 35%. CP is a disease presenting with frequent disturbances of the fertility. 86 patients with the age of 18-55 (mean 35 years) years old with abacterial CP (CAP) in the remission phase were investigated. Disease duration was 2-8 years.

Microsurgical spermatozoid extraction is a highly effective method for the acquisition of the spermatozoids in case of non-obstructive azoospermia of different etiology. Intraoperative microscopy allows the visualization of the extended seminal channels, which could contain spermatozoids, and their microdissection. The advantage of this technology is reduced invasiveness and high efficacy in the acquisition of the spermatozoids in case of secretory azoospermia.

The article is devoted to the description and analysis of the penile revascularization technique with concurrent use of small doses of the inhibitors of phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5) in the early postoperative period. All patients were analyzed in the age group 18-50 years, which were treated due to the diagnosis of vasculogenic erectile dysfunction in the Federal Medical Center named after Burnasyan A.I. (FMBA, Russia) using the Virag-Kovalev technique with standard postoperative care and also with addition of tadalafil 5 mg for penile rehabilitation.
