Introduction. The second most common pathology of the ureterovesical segment, after vesicoureteral reflux (VUR), is megaureter. At the moment, it is necessary to optimize the approach to performing various types of surgical interventions in children with megaureter. The question of the timing and indications for surgery, their number and the sequence of treatment stages remains open. The aim: to analyze the causes of repeated surgical interventions for megaureter and their prevention.

Introduction. Currently, percutaneous nephrolithotripsy is the main treatment for large and coral-like kidney stones in children.

The purpose of the study was to increase the effectiveness of percutaneous nephrolithotripsy (PCNL) in children using miniature-sized instruments.

Introduction. Currently, percutaneous renal surgery is a common surgical procedure in urologic practice for the treatment of large and staghorn renal stones. Placement of a nephrostomy tube has been well recognized as a standard procedure to provide hemostasis, adequate drainage, and access for additional endoscopic procedures. At the same time, the use of a nephrostomy tube has negative consequences such as discomfort/pain symptom, longer hospital stay and possible urine extravasation. In view of the above, draining of the access tract raises questions in some cases.

Introduction. In the last decade, technologically complex endovideosurgical intravesical access has been increasingly used to correct malformations of the lower urinary tract. Thus, currently the question of using vesicoscopic access has not been fully resolved, in this regard, the goal of our study was to study the scientific literature on this problem.

Retrocaval ureter is a rare congenital anomaly, in which the ureter curves around the inferior vena cava. Compression of the ureter by inferior vena cava may lead to obstruction and hydronephrosis. This literature review represents data on diagnosis and treatment of retrocaval ureter.

Introduction. Epispadiasis a severe congenital malformation and is often combinedwith other anomalies: bladder exstrophy, cryptorchidism, inguinal hernia, vesicoureteral reflux, megaureter, buried penis and urinary incontinence. Such diseases affect the quality of life and furthertreatment prognosis.

Medical care for patients with urolithiasis in childhood requires special attention. We would like to make out typical mistakes, that admitted in the treatment of urolithiasis in children, and to focus the attention of specialists on the choice of the algorithm for diagnostics and treatment of urolithiasis in childhood, using the example of the following clinical case. Anamnesis of the child's disease described in detail in the article: the results of the basic instrumental research methods are given, the tactics of surgical treatment are reflected.

Introduction. Scientific papers, which deal with laparoscopic pyeloplasty in children with hydronephrosis, pay attention to the difficulties of renal drainage during the postoperative period and the associated complications. The aim of this study is to demonstrate the variants of temporary urine diversion in children after laparoscopic pyeloplasty, depending on the degree of hydronephrosis and patient’s age.

Introduction. Main symptoms of epispadias are characterized by partial or complete splitting of the urethra. The penis is shortened due to the separation of symphysis pubis and has dorsal deformation because of tunica albuginea hypoplasia on its dorsal side. The glans penis is flattened and the foreskin covers only its ventral side. Boys with subtotal and total epispadias have partial or complete urinary incontinence.

Exstrophy-epispadias complex is a range of urogenital malformations vary in severity from epispadias to classic bladder exstrophy and cloacal exstrophy. Description and study of exstrophy epispadias complex began with the VII century. Only in the beginning of the twentieth century successful results, ensuring optimal quality of life,were achieved. Exstrophyepispadias complex one of the most difficult for treat pathologies in the practice of pediatric urology. Currently, the frequency rate is 1 for 100,000 live births.
