Introduction. During the last years morbidity of population of Russian Federation constantly increases, which is related to an overall increase in elderly population and integration of new diagnostic methods which effectively improve detection rates of certain conditions, and also to an inadequate effectiveness of disease prophylaxis and prevention system.

Introduction. Research Institute of Urology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, directed by Acad. of RAMS, Professor Lopatkin N.A., placed a greater focus on the epidemiology of urological diseases, including urolithiasis, in the USSR and the Russian Federation. Currently, the Institute is monitoring urological morbidity, disability and mortality.

A comparative retrospective analysis of urologic and oncourologic morbidity over the period of 2002-2014 was performed according to the official medical statistics in order to obtain objective information about the state of urologic medical service in the Russian Federation and its regions. ?e incidence of urogenital diseases, malignant neoplasms of the urinary bladder, prostate and kidneys over the period of 2002-2014, and also death rates in Russian population linked to urogenital and oncourologic diseases was investigated.

We have studied the main demographic indices – the population, birth rate, death rate, infantile and maternal mortality, the indices of the reproductive health of the population for 25-year period.

We have performed a comparative retrospective analysis of the urological (including the oncourological) morbidity in a period of 10 years (2003-2013) according to official medical statistics. The aim was the objective investigation of the urological service in Russia and it’s regions. Structure of the urological diseases, oncourological diseases of the bladder, prostate and kidney, and although the associated mortality were evaluated for this period.

Current study was devoted to the comparative retrospective analysis of the urological, including oncourological, morbidity during the period from 2002 to 2012 according to the official medical statistics with the aim of the objectification of the current state of the urological service in Russian Federation and in the individual regions. The frequency of the urological diseases, bladder, prostate and kidney tumors were dynamically evaluated, as well as the mortality rate from these diseases.

This study is devoted to the investigation of the urological morbidity according to the official medical statistics in Russian Federation and it’s regions. The analysis was made for the urogenital diseases, including glomerular and tubulointerstitial kidney diseases, other kidney and ureter diseases, renal insufficiency, urolithiasis, prostate diseases, malignant diseases of the urinary bladder, prostate and kidneys.

Introduction. In recent years the indications for organ preserving surgery in patients with kidney cancer have expanded. The main criteria of organ sparing surgery are local recurrence rate and long-term survival rate. The reason of local recurrence is nonradical resection performed due to no possibility of clear visualization of tumor absence in surgical margin and in biopsy places. Therefore the development of methods capable for tumor visualization and as a result performing precise biopsy from suspicious areas is of current concern.

The present study was devoted to the analysis of urological morbidity rate, according to official health care statistics in order to obtain objective information about the status of urological services in the Russian Federation in general, and in some particular regions for period of 2005-2010.

Present study dedicated to analysis of urological and nephrological disease incidence in Russian Federation in recent years (2004–2009) according to Health care and social development department official statistics, specialized regional institutions and federal government sta-tistics department reports.
