Introduction. Literature data and our own research indicate that therapy with immature cell secretion products (secretome) has a pronounced nephroprotective effect both in acute kidney injury and in chronic renal failure (CRF).

Introduction. In previously published experimental studies, we have shown that in rats with pre-modeled acute post-ischemic renal failure, therapy with a proteomic complex isolated from brain cells of pig embryos has a pronounced therapeutic effect, reducing the severity of functional and histological disorders and preventing the transition of the pathological process into chronic kidney insuffiency. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of this therapy for the course of artificially induced chronic renal failure (CRF) in rats.

Introduction. Cystatin C is one of the markers of acute kidney injury, which have a greater sensitivity than the level of blood creatinine. There are separate publications that the dynamic determination of the level of cystatin C in the blood can be useful for predicting the course of the pathological process and the risk of transition of acute injury (AKI) to chronic kidney disease (CKD).

The development of oxidative stress and nonspecific inflammation is one of the leading factors in the development of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and associated urination disorders in metabolic syndrome (MS). However, the specific mechanisms of these processes are not entirely clear.

The possibility oftreating chronic diseaseswith stemcelltransplantation and therapywith products of their secretion is being studied. In this study, we compared the effectiveness of therapy in rats with severe acute renal failure (ARF) using course administration of protein-peptide secretome (PPS) isolated from the brain of pig embryos and by transplanting tissue homogenate of neonatal kidneys of newborn rats.

The prospective study comprised 20 white outbred male rats with disturbed spermatogenesis, which was modeled by moving both testicles into the abdominal cavity for 2 weeks and then were returned into the scrotum. What is more testicular tissue from newborn rats (1-2 days after birth) was transplanted under the tunica albuginea in the trial series. In the control experiments, transplantations were not performed.

Although shock-wave therapy was initially designed as a method of non-invasive destruction of renal and renal duct stones, mode data accumulate that the low intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPU) therapy mediates a physiotherapeutic effect by stimulating blood flow and metabolic processes in the organ, which is advantageous for treating chronic urological diseases. The positive effect of LIPU has been proven in treating chronic prostatitis/pelvic pain and Peyronie's disease. This experimental study focuses on the effect of LIPU on the course on other urological diseases.
